Aardvark Art Bazaar is an art gallery and retail space that features artwork done by artist Mike Sweeney. Our goal is to create an outlet for Mike's art as well as to provide a venue for other artists who share our vision. In our retail space, we include art-themed items, books, magazines, CDs and just about anything that we think is innovative and funky.

Mike's artwork reflects the combination of styles that may fit under the descriptions of outsider, raw, folk, primitive, etc. We like to think of his art as soulful and funky.

Mike has been filling his art studio with original, hand-painted pieces. His current projects include art done using recycled building materials such as drywall, tin, slate, and wood. There are also more traditional pieces done with acrylic and ink on paper and oil on canvas.

We aspire to create and provide original art and other unique items in an environment that is unpretentious and welcoming to all. Please visit us often, both on our website and/or in our bazaar.
